Engaging FaceBook Cover Pics by StvRich 1.2 IronMan
This is a series of Pics suitable for use as FaceBook cover-art based upon the IronMan-2008 movie and it's themes. It particularly focuses on the Mark II suit and it's first night flight, and Tony Starks first flight as IronMan. As AutomationDnD, I will use the photo or video work I do here, (in these blogs) to produce a simple training video in the use of the program Paint Shop Pro. So, over on that channel you should be able to find a video on this type of photo work. As part of general network training, it is important to understand the fundamentals of the internet, Web Site Administration, web SEO (search engine optimization) and WMO (web marketing optimization). Essentially, you must use media and technology to attract customers. Movies like IronMan, are the FUN side of marketing, and sell themselves. These themes are designed to be attractive.
IronMan is one of my Favorite Technology Themes in FB Covers

Who needs a Man of Steel, when IRON will do the trick
As I watched IronMan 3, one scene stood out, and it is depicted above. I literally froze the movie, stepped it through a few frames and selected one, as a cover picture in facebook. This picture is my selection. When I saw this scene, Tony Stark, staring out through the IronSuit... with dismay... I immediately realized this would be a great shot for FaceBook.
But, I do like the overall high tech theme of IronMan, and there are, of course many many scenes that are simply cool. Actually my preferred visual pieces tend to be of the Mark II armor. That was Tony Starks first version of truly operational armor in his home workshop.
It is obviously the "Knight in Shining Armor" that everyone is looking for.
Who needs a "Man of Steel", when "Iron" will do?

This scene, of Starks design-phase of Mark II is nice but...

The Mark II night-flight-test
I've used this photo recently as my FB cover, check my timeline...
IronMan night-flight test
In the original movie, when Stark wanted to test his Mark II armor, the primary thing he was focused on was the flying capability itself. If you recall from the movie, once he was out and airborne, he then chose to see what altitude he could reach. Even those scenes do provide a few frames that would work as a FaceBook cover picture.
But this photo is the ACTUAL frame from the movie
These Mark II NightFlight photos do work so here's more
I downloaded a High Definition clip of the entire Mark II suit build and test sequence, then I worked through it selecting frames that would make decent facebook cover pictures. Some of them have a view including IronMan, when he is visually rather small in the overall frame. But, I hope to merely capture the feeling of the altitude here.
Some of these frames came through in decent resolution, and fairly cool looking. I did sharpen them a bit. But, even if someone who has never heard of IronMan, doesn't ~ "get it" ~ with these photos, an IronMan fan would. Or, just about any Sci-Fi fan will "get it".
Marvel Comics is going to continue with this series
So... there is going to be a lot of future material for the various super-hero's including, The IronMan. I just took a quick look at some of the backstory surrounding the new "Bad Guy" Ultron.
Apparently, the avengers are going to be fighting some kind of artificial intelligence, if the original story is followed at all. And, it looks like, somehow Ultron is going to be inhabiting one of Tony Starks armored suits.
That Can't Be Good.
I'm seeing that this "Marvel Universe" is not going to just simply Go Away. It looks like these guys have found themselves a cash cow, and with the state of the art being what it is with computer generated 3D graphics... You can now make just about any "Reality" that you wish. If the previous (Marvel) comics are any clue, there is quite a saga involved here. Ultron does become a rather serious threat to humanity, and will be "fought" more than once.
I look forward to seeing the upcoming shows and movies.
With this photo theres enough room for a Profile Pic
IronMan Trivia
The character of Ivan Vanko (played by Mickey Rourke) is a combination of Iron Man's enemy the Crimson Dynamo (Dr Vanko, who wears weaponry/armour that can control electricity) and the supervillain Whiplash (who possesses a specially-designed razor/acid whip). In addition, the character is portrayed as the son of Anton Vanko, who was the original Crimson Dynamo in the comics, and assumes the identity of B. Turgenev (Boris Turgenev, in the comics the second Crimson Dynamo).
Ironman Trivia
When Tony Stark asks Natalie Rushman if she actually speaks Latin, she responds with the phrase "Fallaces sunt rerum species," a quote from Lucio Anneo Seneca meaning "The appearances of things are deceptive."
